Maternity photography: how I work

What are maternity portrait sessions like?

Maternity portrait sessions are a relaxed and fun experience.

Maternity portrait sessions usually take between an hour and two hours, in the comfort of your own home or in your favourite park.

The photographs will capture this special time in your relationship, and record your bump and the amazing changes your body has gone through.

“Thank you, Louise, for capturing a very special time for us. We love that we now have our little family documented before the girls arrive! The pictures are beautiful and natural – we’re so pleased! Thanks again!”

What and who’s involved

It’s absolutely up to you as to whether you’d like some photographs displaying your bump itself, or if you’d prefer to keep the collection of photographs more natural.

Typically, I’ll photograph you individually as well as with your partner and any family members you’d like included – other children, grandparents, no holds barred!

“I absolutely adore the maternity and newborn photos that Louise took for us. She surpassed all our expectations. They were natural and so beautiful! If you are struggling to decide on which photographer to choose, look no further, I can highly recommend Louise – book with her!” Kelly

Fees and products

Maternity photo shoots are available as part of a Bump to Baby package, which also includes your newborn portrait session. It’s so important to capture both sides of your pregnancy story – the pregnancy itself and those precious newborn weeks.

My fees are set out here:

“It was a real pleasure to have Louise taking pictures of me and my husband during this sweet moment in our life. We can’t wait to do the photo shoot session of our newborn twins!”
