Newborn photographer South London – Barnes
About this newborn portrait session:
Having photographed their eldest boy throughout his childhood, from newborn and then regular updates, it was a real delight to photograph him in his newest phase: big brother! I photographed him first, looking at books in his bedroom while Mum fed their newborn baby. It was lovely to see his complete concentration and fascination in the illustrations.
When Mum and baby were ready, we took some more photographs of the whole family together. I then photographed their new little bundle individually, lying wrapped in a blanket their neighbour had knitted for them. He was so adorable and tiny – I made sure to record those tiny newborn details in photographs too.
“This was the fourth time we have had Louise come and take photos of our family and we are delighted with the pictures from this session. We wanted Louise to take photos of our 4 day old baby boy, and all of us as a new family of 4. We love the way Louise managed to capture him in his quiet moments and the detail that she could focus on. The eyelashes, lips, hands and feet these images are stunning. More impressive with the constant sleeping of the newborn, we have some stunning photos of our wee one with his eyes open staring into the world. We particularly love how she managed to capture beautiful moments our both of our sons together in between the protests of a 3 year old and needs of a newborn. Louise is amazing with our nearly 4 year old son and always gets beautiful pictures of him, even if he isn’t really that keen as a subject. Louise is patient and very easy to have in our home. These type of sessions could feel very awkward but Louise is great at putting us all at ease and capturing natural moments. We will definitely be seeing Louise again next year and would highly recommend her”. Jamie
