Why I love this photograph:

Families so often have heaps of photos of each parent with their children, but very few of the two of them together. I love taking a moment to photograph parents together, to focus on their relationship as well as the overall family dynamic. Capturing loving glances and giggles between parents is a delight! Parents often comment that the last time they were photographed together was their wedding photos – photographing both parents together provides a great opportunity to update that, and to celebrate the new stage in their relationship.

This was an especially lovely moment as this family of three was soon to become a family of four – I was really pleased to capture that happy excitement.

A comment from the parents:

We have asked Louise the second time last year to take our annual family pictures. We have again been very happy with her calm and uncomplicated way of dealing with a toddler and the fantastic results we have received. We can highly recommend Louise as a family photographer!”
