Family & Headshot Photographer Highbury
Way back when, I had a boyfriend who lived in Highbury. I loved the buzz of Upper Street, and having the open space of Highbury Fields so nearby. Having spent so much time in the area myself, it’s such a treat coming back to photograph families and small businesses here. I always take the opportunity to visit friends here too!
Highbury Fields makes a nice option for an outdoor part of a portrait session. If you’re happy to venture slightly further, Clissold Park is a great option – the pond, willow trees, landscaped areas and open fields offer so much variety for photos.

We received our final prints yesterday and I’m so happy with them. Louise managed to capture our family beautifully, and in a style that is completely unforced. Not an easy feat when that family includes an energetic four-year-old with lots of unorthodox ideas about how to organise a photo shoot, as well as a baby.
Every step of the process (talking through the various packages on offer, the shoots themselves, and choosing which images to frame) was relaxed and enjoyable.
It’s not easy picking a photographer to do a family portrait, as beyond technical skill it’s their ability to put people (including young children) at ease that determines how good the images will be. Louise did this wonderfully well, and I’m really glad we went with her.
