Family photographer in Greenwich and North Greenwich

Family portrait sessions usually start at home, where little ones feel most comfortable and relaxed. After an hour or so, we’ll head out to spend some time in your favourite park. Having this variety of indoor and outdoor photos makes for a lovely collection of images.
Family photo sessions are always child led, we’ll move from room to room at their own pace. There’s plenty of time for breaks, snacks and cuddles.
Greenwich park is one of my favourite parks to photograph families in. The wide open spaces work brilliantly for photographs, and the more formally planted areas make a great contrast. Having the variety of long meadowy grass as well as open plains offers great scope. The brightly coloured flowers and the bandstand also offer great photo opportunities.
The riverside stretches between Greenwich and North Greenwich are also very picturesque. The historic buildings offer an interesting backdrop, and the open views across the river also work well.
We can also go to your local park. Playgrounds and swings make a great photo opportunity, the bright colours of the paintwork really add a pop of colour to toddler portraits.

Photographing families in Greenwich is such a delight for me, I love returning to a favourite stomping ground! I used to manage the Viewfinder Photography Gallery in Greenwich, and lived in North Greenwich. It was wonderful living over the river, and walking alongside it to get to work. Not to mention having Greenwich park on the doorstep! I really enjoy photographing the new generation growing up here.
