Hampstead is such a vibrant area, I love visiting to photograph families here. After college, I lived in Kentish Town for a while and often ambled over to Hampstead – such a cool area. I loved jogging around the heath (oh, to have the energy of a twenty year old to power up those hills again!), and never got enough of the amazing cafes and shops.
When we head outdoors on your session, Hampstead Heath is an obvious choice for outdoor photos. The mix of open meadows, sloping hills, water and plenty of shady options makes for very varied photos. If you’re worried the heath will be too busy, venturing further afield to Golder’s Green Park is another great option – it still offers the open spaces and pretty foliage, but does tend to be quieter.
