As a full-time family photographer, I’m often photographing families in Holland Park.

First, photographs at home in Holland Park

Family portrait sessions typically start at home, where little ones feel the most comfortable and relaxed.

Then, outdoor family photos in Holland Park

There are beautiful parks to choose from in West London, but I do particularly like Holland Park. Even on the busiest day, it’s easy to find quiet spots for family photographs.

The wooded areas are lots of fun for little kids, and the more formal planted areas make a vibrant backdrop.

The grand architecture makes for a great location too. The pretty trees in the Kyoto Gardens work well with children you can hold in your arms.

An added benefit of having a family photoshoot in Holland Park is you can finish the morning at the playground. Congrats to the Holland Park Playground team – it was Highly Commended as part of the #NLAwards20 Wellbeing Prize.
