Family photographer Surbiton

As a professional family photographer, I find myself photographing all over London and beyond – and am frequently in Surbiton.

In fact one of the first families I photographed were in Surbiton, so it always brings back special memories for me each time I come back here.

My family portrait sessions usually start off at home, where your little ones will feel most comfortable and relaxed. After an hour or so, we can head outdoors to your favourite park. Bushy Park is a great location, with the pretty stream and the interesting woodland areas for toddlers to explore. The open fields also works well for family group shots.

It was so much fun photographing these two little brothers in Surbiton, and of course their lovely parents!

The family photography session was a present for George’s birthday from her friends.

I took some group shots in the house and outdoors, and for the rest of the session I photographed the family playing and interacting naturally.

They’re such a musical family – it was great to photograph them playing the piano, the bongos and a singalong story book!

The boys tore around the house and garden, showing me their train set, aeroplane, teddies, trampoline, playhouse, balloons and bubble wands. Oh, to have the energy of a little boy!

Despite our younger boy being a bit tired and grumpy, Louise somehow captured the most beautiful smiley pictures – both of the boys individually playing up to the camera and of them unaware and playing together, as well as scenes of intense focus and concentration. We have so many lovely photos it is proving difficult to choose which ones to display.” George
