For Photographers
What we'll cover
Products are an area a lot of photographers feel lost in. But it doesn’t have to be complicated! I’ve broken my system down into bite size chunks, which you can easily achieve alongside running your business.
- Which suppliers to choose?
- How to set your product prices?
- How to ensure you actually make some profit from frames and album sales?
- How to package your products?
- Why are your clients only keeping their digitals and not commissioning any frames or albums?
- How to show clients what their photographs would look in your frames, and in their homes?
- How to offer products without feeling pushy?
Includes
- Downloadable checklists
- Scripts for emails and calls to clients
- Design templates for frame layouts
- Behind-the-scenes walkthroughs of my process
Bonus
- Exclusive discount codes with my preferred product suppliers
- Links to recommended boxes and packaging materials for specific print sizes
- Recommended couriers for different package sizes
I'll guide you through the whole process, in 1:1 sessions.
Mentoring for family photographers
I’m here for family photographers who want to feel really proud of their business, and who want that to be a sustainable business that sustains them in the longterm.
Why choose me?
I’m one of the few old-timers still in business! I’ve been photographing families since 2010, and in that time have photographed thousands of families and won some awards. I’ve worked in a variety of business models, including in-person sales and also Zoom design calls; I’ve offered both packages and session fee pricing. I’ve worked through the boom times and the really tough times, and know how to adapt businesses to keep them thriving. I’ve written a book for photographers about marketing (see above), and given a talk for photographers with Wex. Mentoring is a great opportunity to tap into my knowledge and experience in a very personal way, getting to the root of your own needs and requirements.
What's on offer?
- 1:1 mentoring
- Portfolio review
- Website review
- Deep-dive: we’ll spend up to 5 hours together, working through your key concerns
- 6-month mentoring option
I had sessions with Louise focused on marketing support and it was incredibly valuable to my photography business! She was a wealth of knowledge and has so many helpful hints on how take your business to the next level. Everything she shared with me I used as a tick list to get my website up to a much higher standard, it’s been incredibly helpful. I would absolutely recommend Louise Rose Photography to help take you to the next level.”
Lucy
Louise advised me on my website which was rebranded last year. Her knowledge is amazing and I found it so useful as SEO is a rabbit hole to go down as a sole trader. To have a practical conversation giving me advise and actionable tips was perfect and I am excited to keep progressing with all that Louise advised. My main marketing concern was being ranked higher on Google – I know that with all that I learnt, I can keep working on and improving now I know what will work. All the tips were actionable and doable and given in a way that didn’t feel overwhelming or above my knowledge level.”

An e-book for photographers
I was commissioned by Expert Photography to write an ebook for photographers about Organic Marketing.
“With Louise’s blueprint for success, you have everything you need to get started.”
Louise was very helpful and knowledgable in her approach. We discussed all my marketing and promotional activities, with Louise providing tips and suggestions on the different areas. She even created a comprehensive document which sets out all the different steps that I take. Louise has broad knowledge and understanding of marketing and business processes – I appreciated her input and involvement.”
