About This Headshot Session
In the digital age, where first impressions often occur online, personal branding has become an indispensable tool for entrepreneurs. Whether you’re a home renovations expert or a fitness guru – or in this case, both – crafting a compelling personal brand can significantly impact your success. At the heart of this branding strategy is powerful photography.
Nick used to be a professional boxer, and is now a personal trainer. As well as this, he also provides home maintenance services such as overseeing refurbishments. Taking photos for two different businesses in one shoot may be unusual, but I’m always up for a challenge! We started off taking photos in a house Nick was working on, and then went to Clapham Common to take some photos for his training business. He wanted a set of photos that he could use for Instagram as well as for Next Door, and for marketing purposes like leaflets. So, I took some action shots as well as more classic headshots. This personal branding approach means he’ll have a wide range of photos for different purposes. Nothing better than a massive pot of photos to dip into!
Location Selection: A stylishly renovated home made a great backdrop for showcasing Nick’s craftsmanship, while the outdoor setting of Clapham Common evoked the energy and dynamism of personal training.
Props and Accessories: Incorporating relevant props and accessories really helps with storytelling. From tools of the trade in home renovations, to gym equipment for personal training, these elements add depth and authenticity to the photos.
In personal branding, photography is an essential tool for bringing your brand to life. For entrepreneurs managing multiple businesses, such as home renovations and personal training, it can be a challenge to keep up with photography for both businesses – but I’m happy to work on both businesses in one shoot.
