I’m known for not following trends in family photography but staying true to my style. I choose timeless photography every time! I can help you finesse your approach so your photographs really connect with your ideal client, but feel totally authentic to you.

My previous experience with a national arts organisation and also managing a photography gallery gave me a solid grounding in financial planning and in marketing – essential tools for photographers, but ones that many feel weak in. I can help strengthen your business planning and marketing campaigns, without the overwhelm.

I know photography inside out: I have an MA in Photography. Plus, as the graphic designer for the London Independent Photography magazine (many moons ago), I developed my Design BA skills in how to arrange photographs beautifully – skills I can pass on with album planning and design.

I can help you develop a portfolio that really speaks to your ideal clients.

We can also work through how to communicate your style and values in your blog posts and newsletters.

I'll guide you through the whole process, in 1:1 sessions.

What's on offer?

I’m offering bespoke support – no pre-recorded video tutorials here, or regimented systems to implement. We’ll discuss your business, and where you feel you need support – and we’ll map out a plan to get you to where you want to be.

If you’re new to family photography, we can look at your current portfolio and discuss ways to develop it. If you’re an established photographer, we can nurse the areas of your business that you’re finding frustrating or where you feel you’d like some support. Being a family photographer can feel like hard work sometimes, but it can also be so rewarding and enjoyable – let’s get you to that place!

1:1 mentoring

Completely bespoke sessions, working to your needs and priorities. I’ll personalise the sessions so you get exactly the information that will help you move forwards.

Portfolio and / or website review

We’ll discuss your goals and aspirations before I take a look at your work, so I know where you’re at and where you might like to be heading. I’ll spend an hour reviewing your work, and I’ll create a 15 minute video recording of my thoughts. This will give you simple, actionable tips so you can keep pushing forwards and finessing your portfolio.

I conducted portfolio review sessions when I was managing the Viewfinder Photography Gallery, and loved seeing the penny drop for photographers when they could suddenly see what would strengthen their portfolios.

PORTFOLIO / WEBSITE REVIEW: feedback provided via video recording with actionable tips, £200

DEEP-DIVE: 5 hours, in person (in London), £600

6-MONTHS: two 1.5 hour calls and four 1 hour calls, spread over six months. £1,500

My professional experience

My photography and customer service are award-winning, with 15 years experience as a full-time family portrait and business photographer.

My photographs have been published in over 20 publications (including The Observer, The Times, Vogue, Tatler, Baby London & Mothering.com), and exhibited internationally.

I know photography inside out. I have an MA in photography, and previously managed a photography gallery for four years.

I have full DBS clearance (2025).
