Having grown up in nearby Putney, I was often in Chiswick as a child. I used to love spending days by the riverside, and exploring the beautiful grounds of Chiswick House & Gardens. It’s always a treat photographing the new locals here.
We booked Louise for a newborn and family photo session to take pictures of us with our 10-day-old son and our toddler (he was two years, nine months at the time) at our home.
She was absolutely lovely to work with. We were particularly impressed by the way she immediately made our toddler feel at ease. He is usually quite shy with new people, but she spent a bit of time chatting with him when she first arrived and he warmed to her instantly. By the time she started snapping photos, he was really performing for the camera which we’d never seen him do before!
Louise was also very gentle and calm with our newborn, so he stayed really relaxed – we got so many lovely pictures.
Her photography style is very natural which we loved – the pictures captured moments of family life in our home, and we also got some lovely natural portrait shots of our children. It was great that we were able to keep digital copies of all the photos from the session (not all photographers offer this), so we can look at all of them whenever we want and print more pictures in future if we decide to. We would definitely recommend her!”
