Photographing newborn babies in Fulham brings back fond memories of my own childhood – I grew up down the road in Putney, so we were often in Fulham. As my dad still lives in Putney, the area still feels like a second home!
As a child, I loved spending long afternoons in Bishop’s Park and it’s wonderful to bring my own daughter here now – I love sharing special parts of London with her.
It’s really special photographing newborns in southwest London, thinking of how they will come to love the area too! With longer newborn sessions, there’s scope for some outdoor photographs as well as at home. Bishop’s Park is a favourite location, with the picturesque riverside, the pretty rose garden, the woodland areas and the open fields.
