Greenwich is my old stomping ground, so it’s lovely to return to the area and photograph the new babies here! I used to manage a photography gallery in Greenwich, and lived in North Greenwich – walking along the river from home to office was the most amazing commute.
With longer newborn sessions, there’s scope to take some photographs outdoors (as well as at home). Greenwich Park is a great location for this, it’s so picturesque. It offers so much variety, with the open spaces as well more formally planted areas – and the bandstand and colourful flowerbeds also offer lots of colour for newborn photographs. The riverside is also a great option, as is the Royal Naval College – the architectural details of the columns and arches make more lovely photographs.
I am absolutely thrilled with the photos. Louise perfectly captured our newborn’s personality, and I look better than I imagined I would after so little sleep. The photos are absolutely stunning – I’m so glad Louise was able to capture this precious age. I’m looking forward to seeing what Louise creates in our next session!”
