Newborn photographer Wimbledon SW19

I love coming back to Wimbledon to photograph newborns and their families. I’m always pleased to be back – having grown up in southwest London myself, I spent a lot of time in Wimbledon with my school friends. I have fond memories of pantomimes at the Wimbledon Theatre, and even younger the wonderful shows at the Peacock theatre. We loved shopping on the high street as teenagers, and tearing around on Wimbledon common. It’s always special coming back to an area I know well, to photograph the next generation.

Where do Wimbledon newborn photoshoots take place?

Most newborn sessions take place at home, where you’ve got everything you need close to hand. It’s lovely having your home environment incorporated into your photographs. Not the mess and clutter that comes with having a baby, just a sense of your home – it really brings back memories in years to come.

If you’ve got older children, they’re more than welcome to join in. I love photographing the bond developing between siblings! It takes practice and lots of experience to photograph newborns with their siblings. Having been a full-time family photographer for ten years now, I’m highly experienced with these scenarios. I know how to work with both your older children and your new baby to take beautiful photographs of them together.
