Parents often worry about whether their toddler will behave for photographs. The good news is, they absolutely don’t have to! I totally get that toddlers march to the beat of their own drum. My sessions are always child-led, and this is especially important with toddler sessions. Really, it’s one big yes-day for toddlers.
“We are delighted with the photographs. Louise has captured all of our daughter’s different expressions perfectly.” Catherine

My approach to photographing toddlers:
They can play with the toys that catch their eye that day, and we’ll gradually move from room to room to keep things moving for them. Heading to the park is always a treat for toddlers, so that’s also part of the recipe for success! There’s plenty of time built in for snacks and breaks, so your toddler can burn off some energy and then have some down time.
As a parent myself, and a full-time family photographer, I know this age range inside out. I know how to get even the most uncooperative toddler on side – I promise!
Over the course of your session, I’ll photograph you all as a family, candid photographs of your little one playing and enjoying time with you, as well as some gently posed portraits of your toddler.
“Louise was absolutely lovely to work with. We were particularly impressed by the way she immediately made our toddler feel at ease – he is usually quite shy with new people but she spent a bit of time chatting with him when she first arrived and he warmed to her instantly – by the time she started snapping photos he was really performing for the camera which we’d never seen him do before! Her photography style is very natural which we loved – the pictures captured moments of family life in our home, and we also got some lovely natural portrait shots of our children.” Ania
“We had such a lovely morning with Louise. It was a relaxed and happy photo shoot. We are absolutely delighted with the results – really stunning. We’d highly recommend Louise.” Jessica
